   I love him in Gormenghast... all Steerpike wants is a cuddle and to be seen for what beauty he does have inside... he was so misunderstood and all he wanted was approval... Jonny nailed that part so utterly and completely... for me it is quite possibly his best performance and he has such ability to make you love and hate at the same time, to like and dislike at the same time, I love Gorm. You need to watch the extras afterwards to see him talk about Steerpike.

   I've seen some of the extras bit I could watch and listen to him all day I find him fascinating - I loved what he was wearing too.
   
   I agree that it is one of his finest performances I think his acting in it is one of the strongest I've seen save The Tudors - I love the whole story of Gormanghast and there are so many well known actors in it - I really don't know how I missed it on tv - a good old BBC production

   haha thank the lord indeed for it absolutley I love small pieces of cloth now... I have a whold cupboard full of them just incase I get the chance to meet him.... lol

   I am spreading love to all my dearest friends today... I have been away for a little too long but I had to come and leave you each a message to let you know you are special, not only to me, to everyone you meet and everyone you know and even those you don't... may your tears be dried, your spirits be lifted and your hearts held warmly and your cheeks be caressed and blooming with the surge of love that will sweep over the site... I am so glad that I found you all here, you have each made my life more than I thought it could ever be and that goes for Jonny too. I thank him for leading me to you.

   HUGS and LOVE to you. May we all enjoy our time with Jonny and watch him grow from strength to strength... together.

   aww thanks Mary - I'm not too bad today - it comes and goes doesn't it - just when you're trying to do "normal" stuff - things just pop into your head.
   
   I might not be too good tommorow I need to go visit my dad in the Chapel of Rest - I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this (still not really :) ) but I feel I might want to so am going anyway.

   Many thanks Rach - don't worry it only happened on Monday - I'd just found out he was ill not long after we had our Hampton visit but we didn't know how long he had or what we were facing exactly - but he had lung cancer and that's a horrible illness so in some ways I'm glad for him that it didn't drag on and that he didn't suffer too much.
   
   I saw him last Friday and he was unable to get out of bed but quite bright and cheery - still had a joke - so that is the way I shall choose to remember him. I'm taking it a bit at a time but I know time will help we are quite a close family so we will help one another I'm sure.
